Product Update - What's new July 2026
A refreshed look for your Accrual Balance screen, a smarter mobile app, and the arrival of Symon, your new in-app assistant. Here's everything that's changed.
A fresh look for the Accrual Balance screen
We've redesigned the Accrual Balance screen from the ground up. The cluttered layout is gone, replaced with a cleaner, more modern view that makes balances easy to read at a glance, with improved filtering to reach the numbers you need faster, and the ability to view balances for future leave cycles so you can plan ahead.
Mobile app: Single Sign-On and white-label branding
The Synergy Mobile App gets two big additions that make it easier to roll out and truly your own.
- Single Sign-On (SSO) lets your team sign in with your organisation's existing credentials, with no separate password required.
- White-labelling lets you put your own brand front and centre with a customised app appearance.
We've also made a first round of improvements to the mobile calendar and fixed several issues (more on those below) for a smoother day-to-day experience.
Meet Symon, your new in-app assistant
Say hello to Symon, the AI assistant now built right into Synergy WorkForce. Not sure how to do something? Just ask Symon in plain English and get instant, helpful answers, without leaving your screen.
Symon is grounded in Synel's own knowledge base and draws on hundreds of our help articles, so the answers are specific to your Synel products rather than generic web results.
We've launched a brand-new Help Centre, your one-stop home for setup guides, troubleshooting and how-tos. Hundreds of guides across 14 categories, fast search, and a direct line to our support team.
Bug fixes and stability
This release also includes a round of fixes that make Synergy more reliable across the web and mobile apps. Among them, we've:
- Resolved an issue where the mobile clock state could reset after closing the app.
- Fixed break and clocking controls on mobile that behaved incorrectly in some cases.
- Corrected problems when viewing and deleting uploaded document and qualification records.
- Fixed occasional errors when generating certain reports.
- Addressed a display issue affecting the Synergy App tab in System Setup.
Plus a number of smaller fixes throughout.
