Employee Leaver 


Employee leave in the Synergy workforce is defined in two separate fields:
  1. Leave Date - The last day of employee attendance, when the date is due the system will stop accepting clocking data associated with the employee.
  2. Final Employment Date - Last paid date, when the date is due, the employee will transition to inactive. 

Both fields could accept the same date, in this case, the system will no longer accept clocking and change employee status to inactive. 





Daily Template Absence Request Block Rule

A restriction on the daily template might be applied to block employees from requesting an absence to specific work rules defined in the daily template.  Applying this rule to one or more daily templates will block the employee from requesting an absence.

To Apply the rule, go to Work Rule --> Absences.
Click on the Absence and select the daily templates which should be blocked.





Restrict Absecen Reuqest by Department and a Fixed Period

Restricting a department level for a fixed period might be useful to stop employees from booking holidays in busy periods or times of short staffing.

To apply a restriction rule by department go to Personnel --> Settings.
Select the department and click on the Black Absence Request Tab.

Once the rule is in place, employees associated with the department will be blocked from requesting absences at the defined period.



Managing Email Subscription

Notifications generated from our system will contain an unsubscribe link with adherence to the spam laws and regulations. Unsubscribing will stop the recipient from receiving important information, but some users might find certain emails not relevant and might inadvertently block them from receiving all emails. 

To resubscribe click on the top right icon and select Email Preferences and enable the subscription option.





Triggering Re-Scheduling Workflow

Often when setting up a new system the staff get imported from 3rd party without their work rules being present resulting in the employee being put on the System Default.

We added an option to tell the system to Rebuild the schedule for all from a specific date based on what the Personnel screen says is the correct schedule at hand.
