installing Falcon on Windows Vista or above




Falcon tries to write the paradox files to the c:\ and is denied permission, even as administrator.


Windows will suggest you restart the control panel as an elevated cpl, agree to this.


Edit the line for falcon. Change the NetDir under Configuration\Drivers\Native\Paradox




Set it to c:\falcon. Make sure you Apply it from the Object menu


Admin users will have the right to modify the contents of this folder. Normal users will not, you must change the security permissions for the users who will run falcon.
