Exceptions

Exceptions

Exceptions are generated when the clocking in/out time is reported and either an aspect of the time is incorrect, or the time does not comply with a user-defined rule.

Exceptions may be system-generated through validation processes or generated as a result of Time Administration rules.

Each exception can be defined within Daily templates (Work rules)

Yellow  is flagged when user does not clock in/out as per their defined shift pattern like early entry, late entry, early exit, late exit etc.

User can define all the conditions that require managers to review reported time before it becomes payable time.
Examples include an employee missing a clock in, clocking in early/late, working more than eight hours of overtime etc.

Red is flagged when the user fails to clock in or clock out as per their shift, it is important for the admin to take an action to clear blocked red exception or else the clocking in hours will NOT be calculated
